Emerging Engineers
Emerging Engineers builds on the success of the Bio-Med Tech-Girls program. The UVA School of Engineering and Applied Science is leading this unique collaboration between Charlottesville Women in Tech, Tech-Girls and the School of Education and Human Development to provide a variety of immersive engineering experiences.
Participant Instructions
Enrolled participants should be on the lookout for an email from the executive team for programmatic next steps and associated forms that are required prior to the start of the program.
Participant FAQ
This program does not provide overnight lodging.
Transportation is not provided. It is the responsibility of the participant or participant's guardian to provide transportation to and from the designated pickup and drop off locations.
Detailed locations and times will be provided to participants through email prior to the start of the program.
Lunch will be provided each day of the program.
Please bring a water bottle, wear comfortable shoes, and bring snacks and whatever other supplies you will need throughout the day. All program supplies and materials will be provided.
