Meet Bryana Harris from the Saucerman Lab

Bryana Harris is a Ph.D. student in Jeff Saucerman’s lab recently awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. She is one of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Chairs for GBMES, focusing on helping to educate the department on DEI issues and promoting an inclusive environment in UVA Biomedical Engineering.
Q: Where did you go for your undergradate degree, and what did you study?
Auburn University for Chemical Engineering.
Q: What is something that you like about your research?
I like that I get to integrate different research methods to create a holistic picture.
Q: What do you like to do when you aren't working on research?
Read and take pictures.
